Classic Indie & Britpop Tribute
The Landline were formed in North London in 2021 of a collective desire to play the finest tunes from one of rock and pop music’s greatest decades: the Nineties. Naturally, this encompasses many of the big Britpop bands of the time – from Oasis, Blur and Pulp to The Bluetones, Travis and Supergrass – but also the best of the Madchester scene (including the Stone Roses and Happy Mondays), some great dance cuts (Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers), several much-loved alternative acts (Eels, Belle & Sebastian, Primal Scream) and even the occasional foray into classic indie from other eras (Joy Division, Arctic Monkeys).
A sextet of experienced musicians, The Landline have an ever-growing repertoire. They've delighted audiences across London and beyond. Notable shows have included supporting Electrasy at the 100 Club, an after-party for Pulp’s huge Finsbury Park gig and several raucous outings at one of Britpop’s spiritual homes, the Dublin Castle. They’ve also played numerous festivals and parties, guaranteeing a professional and, most importantly, fun performance of fantastic Nineties music, for nostalgic and nascent fans alike.
